WORLD CHAMPION
Jasey Jay Anderson, CAN
Being a World Champion means everything! I've been having
a rough season so far, just trying to get started. I changed
coaches quite a few times, and because of that I haven't trained
as much as I would have liked to. I spent most of my time
trying to find someone who could work for me and getting to
the races. Also trying to figure out where I was situated,
what technique I should do 'cause people've been giving me
different ways of riding. Basically I've come back to what
I learned for my best years with my old coach Jerry Masterpool.
It's just a matter of gattling along and making sure they
are giving me the right information. There's not much snow
here in Europe but the race source is always good, it's been
really good snow for the racing. I prefer slopes that are
not icy but quite hard, man-made snow mixed with natural cold
snow. Now I'm heading towards Salzburg to see a concert with
a friend and tomorrow I'm leaving for Canada, there're some
races back home in Canada!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLY CROWND WORLD CHAMPION!

"Frejn" Freinademetz, AUT -
4th after the first run and top-favorite
Well,
I failed in the upper part, and as I'm used to, I gave full
speed after that failure. In the end it was not enough, especially
in such a strong field of opponents! I'm looking forward to
the end of this season because all this stress is still tense
on my leg. I haven't fully recovered from my injury in the
past autumn yet, and I still have to take it a bit slow!

GS
WORLD CHAMPION Katharina "Ena" Himmler, GER
- the girl with the Masoporami mascot sitting on her
board
My first
run was great, I could really push it through. So I went totally
relaxed into my second run which actually didn't turn out
that good, but in total it was enough. I'm super stoked! This
is certainly the most important race, yet the whole tour is
more important in terms of the sporty aspects. After all Championships
are a one-day-show, and if you are in a bad condition, you
are out. For this season I'm trying to achieve a place in
the top 3 in the WPT season rankings, and right now it looks
quite promising and it works well for me. I'm in a good mood,
and my mental power - say, my head - is OK at the moment!
CONGRATS TO THE NEWLY CROWNED WORLD CHAMPION!
