CYBERCASTING

SUNDAYMONDAYTUESDAYWEDNESDAYTHURSDAYFRIDAYSATURDAY
ISF SnowBoard World ChampionShips - Val di Sole 1999
Tuesday party

Already in the early afternoon hours the GS World Champs had been emerged, and straight after the prize giving ceremony the people started chilling.

Nicola Thost, GER MBM Party Andi Spiess - MBM

The rest of the afternoon was used for prevention measures for not getting the flue whereas others hang out in the various bars. After the media dinner in the evening we popped into the first happening of this evening: the live concert of Shlong Clones, the band from Fieberbrunn which we actually got to hear a few days ago in Fieberbrunn. The guys are pretty popular with the alpine snowboarders, Ueli, Simon and Andre even grabbed the instruments themselves and gave the crowd hell!
After a while we decided to move on to Dimaro for the MBM Western Party - we appeared without proper gear but the real party animals took the motto really serious. But hey, anybody was here: mostly the alpine riders who were off the next day and had one competition already behind them, were going crazy! Ena Himmler, Andre Grütter, Katja Rainauer, Simon Schoch and many others were seen till the bitter end. The tall lady in the worthy outfit, her long black hair loosely lying on her shoulders, turned out to be Sigi Grabner. Sigi was given the typical Western name "Rose", he's really put some effort into being a woman: he's even shaved his legs!!! Even Andi "Ski-stock" is aware that so much identification is kind of suspicious. When Sigi is not occupied with his conflicting personality he's into reading books of Hermann Hesse which is mental preparation for him. He strives for sun - and therefore he always escapes from where we are living here and heads towards the other side of the valley. Dieter Happ, Nicola Thost, Xaver Hoffmann & Nici Pederzolli - these were the best looking Cowboys in the house! Some haven't really checked the motto, they appeared with Mexican hats or even in war-gear. But anyhow: the outfit doesn't matter at all, the most important is having fun - and we had fun...
